About Kathleen

I have been caring for children since I was 16 years old. I began teaching 3-6-year-old ballet. Then I was a camp counselor at The Y for 5-7-year-old kids. For four different summers now I have been a nanny. My first summer (2013) as a nanny, I cared for four girls ages 2-8, the next summer (2014) I cared for an infant boy, another summer (2016) I was caring for that same boy who was then two and his infant brother, the next summer (2017) I cared for 6-month-old twin girls, and last two summers (2018 & 2019) I cared for two boys for two different families part time. During the school year of 2014-2015 and the summer of 2015 I was abroad teaching in Mexico. I also spent a few months working at a daycare, where I worked with children infant to 3 years old. In college I earned my degree in Elementary Education in May 2014 and I have been a classroom teacher for third, fourth, fifth, and sixth grades. I also completed my Masters degree in Literacy Studies in December 2017.
