Kathie was a wonderful asset in caring for our nearly 90-year-old mom, who has mild to moderate dementia. She was able to convince Mom to eat more and drink Ensure, something Mom would not previously do for us. Every time we “dropped in” to check on Mom via the cameras we have in the house, Kathie and Mom would be having a lively conversation filled with warmth and good cheer. Mom says Kathie is her “best friend.” Kathie also gave mom confidence in doing things for herself, such as using the television remote. While Kathie was great with Mom, our border collie may have loved her just as much. He also got plenty of love and attention from Kathie. We all look forward to working with Kathie again!
