Hi, my name is Katie and I am originally from Louisiana. I moved to Massachusetts in 2020 for my husbands work. I have a bachelor's in science focusing in psychology. I work full time as a TMS Administrative Assistant. I would say I am patient, honest, and lighthearted. I try to find beauty and humor in the little things. I love working with kids because they bring so much joy. I started working with kids when I was a freshman in college. I found my first nannying job here on Care. com. I worked with the family off and on until I moved to Massachusetts. I also was a mental health technician for 4 years at Children's Hospital New Orleans, and I was an ABA Lead Line Tech working with children who have autism for 1 year. Katie is caring, punctual, upbeat, and truly a special person to have in your house helping with the kids. My children were in middle school and elementary school when we needed help-my eldest felt a bit too old for a sitter but I recognized that he was not mature enough to be home alone. Katie was able to develop a relationship with my sons that felt more like a “cool aunt” -while still enforcing reasonable bedtimes and directing them to wash up when needed. She has driven my children to sports practice, prepared dinner, and always keeps the house neat and clean. I have relied on Katie many times over the past three years and have gotten to know her very well. She has sound judgement and strong moral character. I highly recommend Katie as a caregiver.
