About Kathleen

Shaping young minds and supporting families is a core value of my heart. With over 40 years of experience (12 years being paid), I've had the joy of caring for children of all ages, from infants to teens. As a Christian, I am kind, patient, creative, and friendly. I love engaging children outdoors, playing music or board games, and teaching educational activities. And I love reading to children! I am comfortable caring for up to two children at a time. I have graduate school experience in psychology and am very comfortable nurturing children while also enforcing household rules. I communicate with parents through verbal updates at pickup and regular texts or calls as needed, always respecting your preferred method, I am working on renewing my CPR and First Aid certifications . I have a car and am comfortable with pets. Knowing I can make a positive impact on a child's life brings immense joy, and I look forward to the possibility of bringing that same dedication to your family.
