About Katherine

Hello! My name is Katie, I am currently a college student at Indiana University studying exercise science to pursue a career in pediatric occupational therapy. Over the past 5 years I have gained experience babysitting while also being a coach for youth field hockey camps. In high school I was actively involved in sports and clubs including field hockey, best buddies, and special olympics. Furthermore, my junior year of high school I was in a leadership program which is a selective enrollment course only offered to juniors and seniors where leaders served as near-peer mentors for freshmen in study hall and academic classes 3 days a week. My senior year, I was a senior instructional leader for the leadership class where I engaged in leadership development through multipurpose mentor and relationships with the teacher and students. I also held a job from January of my senior year to August where I worked at StretchLab.
