About Katherine

Having grown up in a lively church community full of young families, I was used to holding a baby through services and coffee hour. I'd imagine the day when I'd be old enough to babysit. These days arrived quickly enough, to my delight, and I've babysat for about a decade now! My clients have included families of 10 down to only children, with a wide variety of special needs, situations, and personalities. In my recent years as a sleepaway camp counselor, I've had the joy of caring for 9 different cabins of girls. Talk about 24/7! I implemented peaceful daily and nightly routines, always had hugs and a listening ear ready, made sure they took any packed medications at the proper times, stayed available through the night, and loved them dearly! I have my own car, CPR training, lots of infant care experience, and excellent references on request. I'm excited to use my natural love for children and brain for fun activities to serve your family!
