About Katherine

I am a 4th year Optometry student at the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, but am doing a rotation in Columbia, SC until mid-May. Looking for a job after clinic (starting around 5pm) and on the weekends in! In 2019, I received my Bachelor's Degree in Health Science from the University of Missouri. Before starting optometry school in 2020, I worked as a full-time nanny for a family in Chicago. Many of my responsibilities included traveling internationally with the children, preparing meals, running errands and providing transportation, and helping with morning and bedtime routines. I have worked with children ranging from 6 months-13 years. I have extensive experience cleaning, cooking, entertaining children with games and educational activities, as well as outdoor activities and art projects.
