About Katherine

Hi there! My name is Katy and I am looking for part time nannying and babysitting positions. I recently finished my position as a nanny to 2 amazing families with kids ages 16 months - 7 y. o., before taking a summer break for my wedding and honeymoon! Before that I was a music teacher at a classical K-7 school, and enjoy bringing my love of fun and learning to a family setting. I am in my mid twenties and have a bachelors degree from Loyola Marymount University. I am CPR certified, have a fingerprint clearance card, and am comfortable with multiple children and pets. I love singing, playing instruments, reading, spending time in nature, and flower arranging! My experience teaching music has helped me to understand the balance between wonder, fun, learning and discipline.
