Looking for a night out? Need someone with experience? I'm Kat, and I've been working with children for 6 years and am CPR/First Aid certified. 2 of those years I spent at the Goddard School of Williamsburg, working mostly with ages 2-4. Prior to the Goddard School, I worked locally with families nearby, with ages ranging from 2-12. In my free time, I love to bake, hike, do yoga, paint, and sculpt. I have long term experience in supporting children with developmental disabilities through caregiving for a family friend, whose child was on the spectrum. I understand differing support needs, communication skills, and strive to create a sensory friendly environment that promotes cognitive enrichment. My skills include imaginative play, emotional regulation, disability accommodation, positive redirection, and a Montessori philosophy.
