I have 5 years of experience as an in-home caregiver and most of that time was spent as a live-in caregiver. I value the relationships I have built and understand the importance of this work. I am currently going through the process of becoming certified by the state of Oregon as a home care worker (HCW). Once my background check is complete (approx. 8 wks) I will have a provider # for Medicaid. I have extensive experience with dementia/Alzheimer's, mobility issues, pain and eye drops regimens. I am also well versed in regular home-care needs such as cleaning, laundry, meals, transportation to appointments, bathing and more. Clear and open communication with my client to understand desires, preferences and goals is most important. It is my hope that I can fit into their routines and enhance their lives by making it possible for them to maintain their personal freedoms and lifestyle.
