About Katherine

Hi everyone! I am a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and have been CPR/BLS certified and trauma trained several times in the past. I would be willing to renew any of these certifications! I am passionate about ensuring the health and happiness of children. I have experience in both nannying and tutoring. - I babysat and nannied children for years prior to attending college - I led a camp for children residing at a domestic abuse shelter - I was a Unit Leader at Camp Kesem for two summers - I tutored young boys at a rehabilitative alternative to Juvie - I spent this past year living in Ireland, where I taught religion in schools, led a youth group, and helped facilitate groups at the local youth center. I'd describe my personality as empathetic, compassionate, and attentive. In my spare time, I like to read, hike, and explore new places! My skills include having experience working with children who have experienced trauma, tutoring, and being a great listener!
