About Katherine

Hi! I'm Katie :) I've been babysitting since I was 11 and have 10+ years of experience with children of all ages and abilities, especially infants and younger children. I'm experienced with feeding, diapering, naps, age-appropriate play, and daily routines. I also know baby ASL and am comfortable using AAC devices. I've worked as a summer nanny, preschool teacher, camp counselor, and Kumon tutor. I have a bachelor's degree in Psychology with an emphasis in child development and am in the final year of my Doctorate of Occupational Therapy program. Through my OT training, I completed a pediatric internship at Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital. I'm CPR certified, up to date on all vaccinations, patient, and easygoing. I love being hands-on with kids and following their interests while respecting family routines and preferences. I'm especially available for weekends, date nights, and occasional care, but am open to more consistent babysitting when schedules align.
