About Katherine

I'd describe my personality as charming, caring transparent. I like working with kids because kids are fun/ funny make me laugh. I like being a caregiver and a teacher because the experience is rewarding for me. My ideal job will allow me to babysit in my home, I have a toddler and babysitting allows me to still be with her and work at the same time. I started working with kids when I was a teenager babysitting for families. I'm a the eldest child of 6 and so naturally I was my mother's helper as well. We were on a Homestead so think about like an Amish kid. I am a mother of a college kid living abroad and my second child now is 16 months old. In my spare time, I like to paint, museums, hike, bike, and take my daughter to parks. One thing you should know about me is I'm big on safety and being attentive. I'm not the kind of caregiver that sit around on their phones. I actively engage with children. My skills include teaching, empathy, creativity and cooking/ baking.
