About Katherine

Hi there! I'm Kat and I have been taking care of younger children for a lot of my life starting out with my own little brother. I have experience with kids of all ages and previous nannying responsibilities have included carpool, school picks up, grocery shopping, cooking, planning playdates, completing homework, cleaning, laundry, and more! I'm a rising third-year honors student at the University of Denver majoring in Psychology, minoring in Math and Biology, and doing a concentration in Cognitive neuroscience. I really love all stem fields but passions lie in mental health and developmental studies. I'm currently a research assistant at the PROTECT lab on campus which studies pregnancy, parenting, and attachment. I've absolutely loved it because I'm not only getting hands-on experience in my field but I get to interact with and study infants and their parents every day! While my lab is not operating currently due to COVID, I'd love to find a summer nannying position.
