About Katherine

Available for occasional and summer childcare (and can provide educational enrichment!). My name is Katie and I have been a childcare provider for 10 years. I graduated in May 2019 with my BA in Child Development with an emphasis in Early Childhood Education. I am currently a first grade teacher. Previous positions include nanny (infant, temporary due to family's needs), childcare assistant (ages 6 weeks to 5 years old), camp director, and elementary school after school care teacher. I believe children are naturally curious and should be provided with a variety of enriching experiences to encourage healthy development. I love providing experiences for children to learn through music, sensory play, outdoor play, and reading. My rate is $25/hour. I am also available to tutor children in grades K-4. $45/half hour (K-2), $75/hour (grades 3-4). I tailor a plan to meet the needs of your child and can incorporate school assignments!
