About Katherine

Hello! My name is Kate, and I have over 16 years of childcare experience, along with having raised two children of my own. I earned my Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education from Austin Peay State University. I have experience caring for children of all ages, including those with special needs such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down syndrome, and ADHD. As the mother of a child with Level 3 Autism Spectrum Disorder, I spent the last 10 years focusing on his therapy schedule and developmental needs. I believe childhood should be filled with creativity, exploration, and fun! I enjoy arts and crafts, reading, outdoor activities, music, and creating meaningful experiences that encourage learning through play. I am working on renewing my adult and pediatric first aid/CPR/AED certification from the Red Cross.
