About Katherine

I've been working as a nanny since 2013 and have had the pleasure of helping four families in long-term arrangements. I have also worked in a traditional daycare, a summer camp, and as a para-professional serving middle and high school age students. I am CPR and First Aid certified. I also have prior lifeguarding experience from my years as the aquatics director at a summer camp. My philosophy as a nanny is a wholistic approach between children and families. While providing safe and consistent childcare is the primary priority, my goal is to build a relationship with both the parents and children. I hope to give parents peace of mind knowing that their children are in a safe and loving environment. I believe in complete honest and open two way communication between myself and my nanny families. I am friendly, honest, and proactive. I also understand how unpredictable life can get with children and understand that flexibility is an essential part of my career as a nanny.
