About Katherine

Hello! I am looking for a summer job to keep myself busy. I am a third grade teacher and when school is out for summer I tend to go stir crazy! My summers used to be filled with activities with my daughters, but they are grown now and spending time with mom is way less cool. I have been a teacher for 18 years in Savannah Chatham Public schools. Through my district I have had all required government employee checks and first aid/CPR training. I am certified in grades pk-5th. I hold a bachelor's in early childhood education, a masters in early childhood education with reading endorsement certificate. I am also a certified gifted educator. Furthermore, I earned a specialist degree in curriculum studies, and I am working to complete my dissertation for my doctorate. I love tutoring and creating fun, meaningful learning experiences for children. I genuinely enjoy spending time with children and creating special moments and fun memories. Thank you!
