About Katherine

I'm an energetic, reliable, and responsible Elementary Education major in the Honors College at the University of Delaware (current junior)! I am truly passionate about children and education--I worked at a preschool/daycare out of Kennett Square, PA for two and a half years in high school and have spent the past two semesters student teaching in fifth and third grade classrooms! I am also enthusiastic about athletics--I have played field hockey and lacrosse since sixth grade, I play field hockey here at UD, and I coached/officiated for my hometown's youth field hockey league all four years of high school. In between busy student teaching semesters, I would love to experience a more closely bonded childcare setting. I am more than happy to offer assistance with any household duties/chores that I can and I love animals. I am really looking forward to getting to know your family!
