About Katherine

I like caring for seniors because it brings me joy to help others. My most recent work was in Elmhurst taking care of a woman with Alzheimers. My responsibilities included help with dressing, meal preparation, driving to leisure activities, physical activity, and companionship. I was sad that she could no longer be at home and went to a memory care facility. I'm looking for a job that is flexible and a good fit. I started caring for seniors when I received my CNA Certificate in 2013. I started out in a hospital setting and then went to caregiving. I went back to the hospital setting and realized I liked the more personal and longer-term care that is found in caregiving. In my spare time, I like to go hiking, swimming, and traveling with my children. My skills include assisting with mobility, activities of daily living, and hospice care.
