About Katherine

Hello everyone! My name is Katie! I am 19 years old and just finished my first year at UConn! I am looking for some more families to nanny or babysit for this summer! I am from Cheshire but am willing to travel! I have worked at a daycare center for almost two years now! I was the head preschool teacher for almost a year before I went to college, but have worked with every age group, from 6-week-old infants to 8-year-old distant learners! I work in management at my daycare center, so I have extensive knowledge of age appropriate milestones and would love to help with those! I have also been babysitting and nannying privately for over 6 years, working with children ranging from 5 months old to 9 years old. I have a clean driving record and experience doing school pick up and drop off. I have also worked as a tutor for years, so I can definitely help with school work if needed! Some of my favorite things to do with the children I work with are music, art and anything outdoors!
