Hello! My name is Katherine and I have recently moved to Pennsylvania from New York. I have 17 years of childcare experience, eight years of them spent in early childhood, daycare and most recently Special Education worlds. I have a Masters degree in Early Childhood Special Education and currently work in a Preschool program while also attending school in order to become certified to teach here in Pennsylvania. In the past, I lead the Infant & Toddler classrooms, ages 6 weeks- 24 months. I love arts and crafts, singing and dancing and teaching colors, shapes, ABC's and 123's and sign language. My weekends were spent babysitting for all age groups and summers I worked as a counselor at a Performing Arts camp. Beyond my love of teaching I have a music and fine arts background that I believe allows me to communicate with children of all ages... who doesn't love dancing and singing to the "Hotdog" song from Mickey Mouse Clubhouse? Katherine was absolutely amazing. She came the day before to meet my girls and they both immediately loved her. She was great at communicating with me and very through with her questions. She was on time the night that she came. Katherine took the time to make both my girls feel very comfortable with her. She left my house cleaner then I had left it. Katherine got my younger daughter to sleep and was really involved with my older daughter. My girls can't wait to see her again, we will definitely be calling her again.
