About Katherine

Early Literacy Specialist and Educational Consultant Looking to give your young reader a strong academic foundation? I am a fully licensed Ohio teacher with a Master's degree in Education, a Reading Endorsement, and over a decade of classroom and tutoring experience. I specialize in helping young learners navigate the critical transition from PreK to 3rd grade. My approach is rooted entirely in evidence-based reading science, focusing on phonemic awareness, phonics, and decoding skills that build life long confidence. In my sessions, I transform foundational reading skills into engaging, high energy interactive experiences. I focus heavily on the mechanics of reading while nurturing a genuine love for books. I look forward to working with your family to build the skills and confidence your young reader needs to thrive.
