About Katherine

Hello all! My name is Katherine and I am a third year student studying biology at Western Washington. I just moved here from California as a transfer student and am loving being in Bellingham. When on campus, I maintain a 3. 6 gpa and am involved with many animal related clubs and organizations. I am comfortable with all shapes and sizes of dogs and am comfortable in situations with trained and untrained dogs. I have experience as a veterinary intern and as a volunteer for shelters around my home town. Additionally, I have 8 years experience as a nanny as well as 3 years experience as an overnight summer camp counselor. I have experience with kids 3-17. I am very personable and energetic, which makes me a friendly and comfortable friend. I love being active and exploring, but also appreciate reading a book and having quiet play time. I offer services as an English or biology tutor for k-12 and 2 years experience as a tutor in these subjects. I am available in Bellingham this fall!
