About Katherine

Hi! I'm Katie, a 32-year-old nanny with 12+ years of professional experience caring for newborns, infants, toddlers, and school-age children. I've worked with long-term families, nanny shares, multiples, overnights, vacations, and date nights. My approach is play-based, child-led, and focused on building strong, trusting relationships. I love incorporating play schemas to support early childhood development and creating engaging activities that match each child's interests. I have extensive experience supporting children with ADHD, autism, sensory needs, and emotional regulation using trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming care. I hold a Child & Youth Advocacy certificate, an Associate's degree in Psychology, and I'm currently pursuing my Social Work degree at Salem State University. I strive to create a safe, nurturing environment where children can learn, grow, and have fun every day!
