About Katherine

Hello families, my name is Katherine and I am thrilled to tell you a little bit about me. I am CPR/ First Aid certified, also lifeguard certified. I have worked in the pharmacy world for 4 years, including retail pharmacy and inpatient pharmacy. I have been working in child care for as long as I can remember, ranging from infant age to +12. I was a life in nanny for a little over a year for two beautiful boys (12 months and 2 years) and I also was a nanny for two wonderful twin girls (12 months). I have been volunteering and working at 4H camp for 10 years, including working as a staff member and camp coordinator for 4 years. I am very organized, passionate, empathetic and flexible. I do have my own form of transportation, it is a Chevrolet Equinox (2017). I like working with kids because they are so pure and fun. Whenever I'm working with kids I'm reminded that life isn't so pressing and we should slow down sometimes and enjoy the little things (just like they do)
