About Katherine

Using creativity to build resilience in kids is a true passion of mine. As an artist, I've seen firsthand the benefits of creative expression and want to share that with your family. With three years of experience across art education and babysitting a set of 9-year-old twins, I offer a patient and calm approach to structured creative activities. I'm comfortable caring for up to two children and happy to engage them with music practice, drawing, digital art, and mindfulness exercises. I have a BFA from the Maryland Institute College of Art and five years of experience working for tech companies (Microsoft), artists (Laura Owens), and galleries as a designer and digital artist. My approach is best suited for families supporting a low-screen/stimulation environment.
