About Katherine

From acting as a mentor to younger children in my local theater program, to caring for my younger cousins, my love for kids began when I was just a kid myself. Since then I have worked at various camps and programs, volunteered at elementary schools, and worked as a part-time babysitter. I began tutoring elementary students this past semester, and am extremely patient and determined when helping them work through a difficult concept. In my past experiences with kids, I have loved providing a listening ear and acting as a trustworthy member of their support system. Beyond offering support, I also truly love having fun with them, either learning their favorite games and shows at the moment, or teaching them some of my old favorites. Additionally, I am CPR and first aid certified and act quickly and calmly in a crisis. If there is anything else you would like to know about me, please don't hesitate to reach out!!
