About Katherine

Hello! I'm Katie, 27 yrs old. I started out some childcare at 15 years old as a teacher's assistant at the Sunday school I previously attended. There, I was able to teach children from ages 5 to 13. Around 18 years old, I started working in daycares as a floater. I got to work with ages newborn to 13. I absolutely loved building relationships with my co workers and the families that attended there. As I got older, I had the opportunity to lead groups for the aftercare program and summer camp programs! I loved creating lesson plans, games and activities that I knew the children would enjoy! Some of our favorite activities were dance parties, science experiments, building forts and arts and crafts! After I turned 24 I became curious of other career options and took some time out of childcare, currently looking into going to school for RN. For the time being I'd love to help out with families as they find someone permanent or baby sitting for nights out!
