I have over 10 years of child care experience with children from infancy to 12 years encompassing all areas of their daily life and more. I'm well organized, patient, and good with routines. I handle last-minute changes with ease, stay calm in high-stress situations or when a child gets upset. I value trust, respect, kindness, and communication. I have a well behaved service dog named Torin. I'm the middle child of two sisters and grew up with an Army father and preschool/elementary school teacher mother. I understand the importance of balancing and intertwining play and learning in a child's daily life. Consistency, positive support, and the reinforcement of household rules and values all contribute to a child's healthy development. I love to read and share favorite books with all ages of children. I help with homework by adapting to the learning methods and abilities of the child. I love to play games, do arts and crafts, and discover new things alongside the children in my care.
