About Katherine

Hello, my name is Katherine and I am a doctorate student in clinical psychology! Currently I work with kids as a therapist and have been a babysitter for most of my life. I'd describe my personality as creative, compassionate, and humorous! I like working with kids because I love being able to interact with and create a safe space to allow for change and growth! I love helping build their self esteem and confidence! I'm looking for a job that will allow me to support children! I am looking for work primarily at night or the weekend due to my busy schedule during the days. I started working with kids when I was very young as a babysitter. Two years ago I began providing therapy for children and adolescents in my doctoral program. In my spare time, I like to go hiking and play music. One thing you should know about me is that I approach working with kids with equal amounts of discipline and encouragement! My skills include creativity, problem solving, time management!
