About Katherine

Hi I'm Katie!! I'm from St Louis and new(ish) to New York looking to connect with families for child care. I am looking to spend 1-2 weeknights with consistent babysitting, as well as occasional weekend nights babysitting. I have over 10 years of childcare experience, ranging from being a regular babysitter/nanny, working in several preschool settings, and currently as a school social worker for an elementary school in the Upper West Side. I am creative, patient, and outgoing. My approach is play based, child directed while establishing boundaries and independence in children. I love to work with children because it is fun! I would love to connect and elaborate more on my background and expertise! I look forward to talking more.
