About Katherine

Hi families! I'm new to the area and recently started my master's degree in Architecture at Pratt Institute. I'm originally from a small town in South Carolina called Hartsville, where I grew up babysitting for families throughout my neighborhood. I even put together an art camp for the neighborhood kids! Getting to watch each child grow, learn, and develop their own unique personality was one of the most rewarding parts of babysitting for me. I have experience caring for children ranging from infants to pre-teens and am comfortable caring for up to three children at a time. Over the years, I've helped with everything from teaching toddlers how to swim and potty training to listening to a second grader debrief about their day. I'm also happy to help with light housekeeping and keeping things tidy while the kids are in my care. I'm excited to meet some wonderful families in my new community and hopefully become a trusted and familiar face for your little ones!
