About Katherine

Hello! My name is Katherine , I am 24 years old, and I have 4 years of direct patient care experience through school and working at Cooper University Hospital in Camden, NJ. Working as a hospital pool patient care technician, I am experienced in a variety of clinical settings such as oncology, medical/surgical, psych/behavioral care, neurological/stroke, pediatrics, and maternity. I love to be creative, to cook, and am able to help with light housekeeping and errands as well. I have extensive experience with senior care and Alzheimer's/ Dementia patients, as I have been a caregiver to both my grandmothers with dementia. I also enjoy working with children; I used to help teach safety town in Gloucester township and was a volunteer English teacher in Honduras for 4 months in 2018 before going to college. I have always been an extremely patient person and remain a steady, calm individual around many personalities and in stressful situations- we'll get along just fine.
