I spent my high school years and summers nannying, babysitting, and being a mother helper. I went to college and majored in psychology and sociology. Summers in college, I worked as a camp counselor at a multi-arts camp and at a camp for kids 5-adult with varying needs. During my junior and senior year I worked as a preschool aide. I decided to go into teaching before going to get my masters in psychology/social work and have spent the last three years as an elementary school teacher. I'm experienced and comfortable with all age ranges! I can conversationally communicate in Spanish and American Sign Language but I am not fluent! I am very artsy, sporty, observant and creative! I have always loved children since I was little and I look forward to potentially working with your family!
