As a little girl I watched my mom get ready for work everyday and I was so VERY proud of her... In my mind she was a super hero and I wanted to be just like her. At the age of 14 I started working with her as a nurse's aide. Mom was diagnosed with NASH when I was 16 but it was closely monitored and didnt cause issues but that all changed instantly on Feb 6, 2022 (the day my dad died) and unfortunately on April 21, 2024 I lost her too. This journey gave me a backstage pass to a variety of facilities and it's heartbreaking! Through the years with all I've witnessed... my decision to do private in home care came rather easy. It was a much needed service so there was NO other option for me. A NO BRAINER so to speak because I believe our loved ones deserve better.

Katharine was our savior! She came into our home and not only did she give Mom her dignity back ...she also taught our family how we can get through this in a loving way. We didn't understand mom's dementia but she opened our eyes to a whole new perspective. Our family is so thankful for all she's done...she didn't have to yet she chose to help us as a family instead of a job.
