About Katharine

I currently work full time teaching 2 y/o through 4 y/o children in a Manhattan preschool and am available for evening or weekend opportunities! Over the past decade I've been a babysitter/nanny and tutor for several families with kids of various ages. I have mostly babysat for 2 to 12-year-old kids, however I've also had experience nannying full-time for a 18-month-old and babysitting infants. I have degrees in Comparative Literature, History, and Geography. I am passionate about encouraging emotional and educational growth through engagement with art and music, outdoor exploration, and community engagement. I'm also a proud big sister to an amazing 12-year-old, and a big cousin to many incredible kids, all of whom I have helped care for since their birth.
