About Katharina

Hi, I'm Kat, I'm 40 and originally from Germany, I've lived in the city for 20 years. I have about 15 years of childcare experience with kids of all ages, newborn to teens, multiples, children with special needs, and I am comfortable caring for up to 4 children at a time. I'm a software engineer but I work flexible part-time hours from home and really miss working with kids, so I'm hoping to spend more time doing childcare again. We have two teenage sons ourselves so I'm usually not available nights and weekends but can be flexible in case of an emergency or for a special occasion. I'm fluent in English and German and speak just enough French to bother the French with my attempts. I have CPR and First Aid training, can help with homework (including high school), light housekeeping, meal prep, etc. I love all types of pets, and I can provide local references. I'm a non-smoker, current on all vaccines including COVID, adult boosters for MMR and TDap, and I get annual flu shots.
