About Kate

I have always loved babysitting and working in childcare, and that is what led me to make the decision of studying elementary education and psychology. I am just graduated from the University of Portland with a Psychology bachelor's and a minor in elementary education. I have babysat for six years now, watching kids as young as just a couple of weeks old and kids as old as 12. I worked at a summer camp in my hometown. I also used to work at my local YMCA in the kid zone with newborns. At both the YMCA and the summer camp, I ran games, arts and crafts, and ensured the safety and fun of all the kids attending. I currently nanny in the mornings for a toddler and would love to help out with occasional date nights and nights out. I want to continue to work with kids of all ages to teach them and aid them in gaining new skills while having lots of fun and keeping your kids safe at all times.
