I love kids and can't imagine a more enjoyable way to spend my time. Retired since 1/22 and I have been caring for my "bestie" (grandniece born Nov 2021) two days a week since then. I also have nieces ages 5, 7 and 9, and an 11-year-old nephew, all of whom I care for when needed. I have raised one child of my own and two stepchildren. I grew up with a special needs sibling and was his legal guardian after my parents passed. I am available for eve/weekend parents' nights out, and/or the occasional short notice need. Kate was absolutely wonderful with our son. He instantly gravitated to her and slept soundly through the night after playing all afternoon. Kate was easy going and a great communicator.
