About Kate

Prior to motherhood, I spent several years caring for young children in their homes and in my own home. I have extensive experience with newborns, toddlers and elementary age children including multiples, sibling groups and children with special needs. My family recently relocated to Michigan after traveling the country for two years. We fell in love with Northern Michigan and couldn't be more thrilled to be a part of this wonderful community. We are a family of six - my husband, myself, and our four elementary age children - which is a lot of fun. I homeschool our kiddos and take great joy in being the primary educator and influence in their young lives. As a family, we welcome the opportunity to include one or two more children in our fun and educational days! I am also a former foster parent and in addition to accomplishing 40+ hours of trauma and special needs training, I have been called upon as a speaker at trainings for other parents. My passion is caring for children!
