About Kate

Hi my name is Kate (she/her)! I'm 23 and moving to Columbus from Toledo in August (sadly leaving the family I currently nanny for) and am looking for a new family to help. I have a BFA in graphic design from BGSU, so I like to create with the kiddos. Making crafts, using our imagination, and turning mundane tasks like a bath into a spa night they will remember are essential. I have implemented disciplinary systems in the past two families I have been with. "The Ladder" is a tool I use that allows the kiddos to take responsibility for their actions, while also understanding financial basics at a young age. In my free time I do freelance work (make websites, free hand designs on banners, logos, photography, etc.), read books that focus on different lifestyle perspectives and philosophies, and do activities outside as long as the sun is out.
