About Kate

I'd describe my personality as easy-going, compassionate, and patient. I like working with kids because they have a unique perspective on the world and there are endless ways to learn from each other. I started working with kids when I was 15 as a swim instructor and lifeguard. Additionally, I babysat my little cousin during the summer and volunteered at my church to help with their lessons. I loved seeing their growth and improvement, which is what inspired my passion for working with kids. In my spare time, I like to create art, read, write, play with my bunny, and spend time with friends and family. One thing you should know about me is humbly credit myself as an introspective thinker, meaning that I am extremely empathetic and prioritize others well-being.
