About Kate

For as long as I can remember, I have loved working with kids, especially those with special needs. This passion has led me to pursue a master's degree in special education. I love art, nature, and animals, especially my cat, Nugget. I was a volunteer teacher's assistant for a children's clay class for over seven years. I absolutely love doing arts and crafts with children to express themselves and let their imaginations run wild! My experiences working with children in different schools and capacities has helped me learn an array of strategies tailored to each child's unique social, emotional, and learning needs. My supervisors and coworkers have described me as patient, dedicated, kind, fun, creative, and adept with working with children to support and help them be their best selves. I am happy to provide references upon request. I look forward to working with your children and hopefully doing some fun arts and crafts!
