About Katelyn

Hello! I am currently a college student studying Marketing at Grand Valley State University. Prior to transferring to GVSU, I was a paid tutor for Jackson College. I am certified to tutor math, business, English, technology, and some science. In High School, I was very involved. I was apart of Student Council, National Honor Society, Freshman Mentor Program, Business Professionals of America, and captain of my tennis team. I graduated as a valedictorian. I'd describe my personality as energetic, motivated, and fun. I like tutoring because I love helping kids! I think education is very important. In high school, I worked with a special needs pre school class and got to experience first hand how difficult it can be for some students to grasp certain topics. I'm looking for a job that is flexible with my work schedule! I currently have a paid internship that is from 8:00-4:30 during the week! I started tutoring during my second year at Jackson College!
