About Katelyn

My name is Katelyn, I was born-and-raised in atlanta and received a Montessori education before attending Pace Academy high school. I am entering my junior year at UVA, where I study Psychology and Education, minoring in business while competing as a dual-sport athlete. I love spending time outdoors and can be found hiking, camping, playing flag football, or trying new recipes. I have over six years of childcare experience and have spent the past three summers as a cabin counselor, providing care and supervision for campers while supporting their physical, emotional, and developmental growth. I was later selected to train the incoming staff. I also tutor elementary students in all core subjects, was head coach of a Montessori's middle school flag football program, and have extensive babysitting experience. These experiences, along with being an older sister to two brothers, inspired my passion for child development and education.
