About Katelyn

Hello! I have experience in working in childcare facilities and high pressure environments. I am an enthusiastic, fun, patient, and reliable person. I just finished my first year at USM where I am dual majoring in K-12 Music Education and Violin Performance. Creativity in children and being surrounded by the arts at a young age is something I personally hold to a high level of importance! I have been a lead dance teacher of classes ages 3-16 for 2 and a half years (sometimes teaching classes of up to 20 students), I also am the head of the music program at the studio and have been teaching music, violin, and voice lessons for the past 2 years to students ages 4-50. In addition to that, I also have worked as a caretaker in the summer at large childcare facilities that have over 120 children in the building during the day.
