About Katelyn

I have 13 years of experience working at an after school program, I was a certified teacher for a hot second, and I was a nanny every summer in high school. I love working with kids and I find so many ways to teach them about the world (reading, math, science) naturally as situations come up. I love reading aloud and helping kids read. Finding the perfect book that makes a kid light up is one of my favorite things! I am allergic to shaming punishments and always seek to find out the reason for the misbehavior, but that doesn't mean I'm anti-consequences.
