About Katelyn

Hello! My name is Katelyn and I have been a caregiver and professional for over 15 years. My philosophy is that children are the greatest people in the world and I believe that they deserve attention and care that places them at the center of the universe. I value play, stewardship of the earth and nature, gentle care, cleanliness, and creativity. I am a caregiver by nature and I love any opportunity to engage with caregiving of other humans, regardless of the context. I also love to be silly and to encourage kids to engage with their creative side! I love animals and am happy to serve in a home with them. I started working with children when I graduated high-school. I have worked with children in multiple capacities including non-profit arts eduction, after school academic instruction, special education, autism specific services, nanny, babysitting, etc. I have a wealth of experience with children with complex needs, including high behavioral needs.
