About Katelyn

I'd describe my personality as introspective, observant, resilient and independent. I'm looking for a job that will need stable and consistent care either for children or adults. I will need some flexibility as I'm entering college. I started working with kids at 16; starting with applying to help in the "G-kids" section of my churches program and was granted the opportunity to watch over kids younger. Throughout and after high school, I babysat some of those same kids and watched over friends' child family members when they were unavailable. My skills include trying to understand or uncover the "why" behind a child's actions and thoughts to help guide them to the best or most helpful resources available to them that is responsible for their age, my ability to keep a clean and organized environment that is safe for all ages, and to ensure any rules are strictly followed (this includes any disciplinary actions needed OR following a strict food schedule in case of any allergies).
